HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - A woman and her boyfriend conspired to kill another man that she had been dating, police say.
The Hollywood Police Department said Wednesday detectives were looking for 28-year-old Alexis Cabrera, who investigators say killed Duran Rivera on June 10. Police arrested 18-year-old Stacy Goff on Tuesday.
According to an arrest affidavit, Goff told police she was dating Cabrera and Rivera simultaneously. Police say text messages between Goff and Rivera show they lured him to an alley a 2112 N. Dixie Highway, where he was shot and killed.
Before the shooting, Cabrera told a police informant that he planned to kill Rivera, according to an arrest affidavit. After the shooting, Goff told the same informant that Cabrera shot Rivera several times.
Cabrera frequents hotels in the Hollywood area, police say. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Hollywood Police Department at 954-967-4111 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
