1 wanted for letting cattle loose

WELLINGTON, Fla. - The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office is looking for whoever removed a gate and allowed a group of cattle free in Wellington.

The cattle's owner received a phone call about 4 a.m. April 22 that one of his calves was standing in the roadway at 50th Street South and 120th Avenue.

The owner found someone had removed the gate and one bull, four cows, and two calves were missing.

The cattle were found on the west side of 120th Avenue South about 9 a.m., about half a mile south of 50th Street.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS.
