MIAMI - Miami police are investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old boy, according to authorities.

It happened at Northwest 28th Street and 1st Avenue in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood.

"The boy tell me to get the bike off his legs and he didn't feel his legs," said one witness.

Police said rescue crews transported the victim to Jackson Ryder Trauma with a bullet wound to his back.

"My whole life fell out on the floor in front of me because for 14, 15 years, I've taken good care of that boy. We are close," said Sam Willis, the boy's father. "His spine is cut. His spinal cord is cut where that bullet went through his back."

Two other teens who were with the teenager at the time of the shooting were questioned by police Wednesday night, authorities said.

Police said they didn't have a description of the shooter, but that he or she could be driving a white Nissan Altima.
