MIAMI - The two men hospitalized after their boat capsized off Key Biscayne Monday were released from the hospital.
George Verdecia and his older brother went fishing Sunday night. Sometime during the fishing trip, the boat capsized about three miles off shore, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. Neither man was wearing a lifejacket when the boat capsized.
Verdecia's brother swam to shore to get help, leaving his younger brother to use a cooler to stay afloat.
Verdecia was found Monday morning by the Coast Guard.
Both men were transported to Mercy Hospital and are expected to recover.
