Hilton named to All-Sun Belt First Team

Griffin also named to First Team

Miami – FIU wide receiver T.Y. Hilton was named to the All-Sun Belt First Team as a receiver, kick returner and all-purpose runner on Wednesday. Hilton caught 64 passes for 950 yards and seven touchdowns. He also had a 97 yard punt return for a touchdown.

FIU kicker Jack Griffin was also named First Team. Griffin connected on 21 of 25 field goals and made all 35 extra points.

Running back Kedrick Rhodes was named Second Team All-Conference. He rushed for 1,121 yards this season. Left Tackle Caylin Haupton also received a second team nod.

FIU boasted one of the top defenses in the Sun Belt, but the unit was shut out from the First Team.  Defensive end Tourek Williams, linebacker Winston Fraser and safety Jonathan Cyprien were given Second Team honors.
