Arsonists set fire to Achla Pita Grill in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Police in Hollywood release more surveillance video showing arsonists setting fire to Achla Pita Grill.

The incident happened on September 10.

Surveillance video showed the men breaking into the restaurant, setting fires as they walked around and then leaving. At one point, one of the men caught fire before the other put it out.

A nearby pizza place was also damaged.

Ilan Timianski, who owns Achla Pita Grill, said the arsonists left no message of a hate crime.

Ten months ago, there was also no message when two arsonists burned up the the Holyland Judaica store in the same strip mall. That incident was also caught on camera.

Police are not calling these hate crimes or saying that they are related.
