Candlelit vigil to be held for missing UF student

SWEETWATER, Fla. – A candlelit vigil will be held on Thursday evening for a University of Florida student who was last seen on September 20.

The vigil for Christian Aguilar will be held at Carlow Park at 10600 Southwest 4th Street in Sweetwater beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday.

On Tuesday, Pedro Bravo was indicted for first-degree murder. Bravo has told police he beat up Aguilar and left him by a field on UF's campus the day he was last seen.

The body of Aguilar, 18, has not been found.

On Saturday, the Christian Aguilar Foundation is hosting a fundraiser at J.C. Bermudez Park in Doral.
