Murder suspect apprehended after being on the run

Victor Ramos apprehended for shooting neighbors


OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – The suspect wanted for the shooting of a Oakland park couple was apprehended Tuesday night in Margate.

Victor Ramos was on the run since the murder of his neighbor, Kenny Sewell, 25, and the shooting of Sewell's girlfriend April Mascorello, 22.

Margate police spotted Ramos walking through a parking at 4998 W. Atlantic Blvd.

Ramos was taken to the hospital for evaluation. When he is discharged he will be transported to the BSO Main Jail in Ft. Lauderdale where he will be booked.

On Sunday, Ramos allegedly showed up to the couple's home and shot them after an argument between Ramos and Sewell.
