Man wanted for gold chain robbery

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale police are looking for a man who robbed a victim of his gold chain outside the Community Food Store in Fort Lauderdale

The robbery happened in the 3200 block of West Broward Boulevard about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

A customer was leaving the store when the robber followed him and pointed a gun at his head, police said. He used his T-shirt to mask his face.

The robber took the customer's gold chain, then ran off.

Police described the robber as 18 to 20 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing 150 pounds.
