POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A man shot and fatally stabbed his brother after an argument inside their Pompano Beach apartment, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
About 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, investigators said Dieuseul Cemerant, 23, stormed into an apartment at 305 SE 9th Avenue where his 21-year-old brother, Saint-Ange Cemerant, was visiting with his girlfriend.
Detectives said the elder Cemerant shot his brother. A struggle ensued between the two men, in which deputies said Dieuseul Cemerant grabbed a kitchen knife and fatally stabbed his younger brother.
Cemerant then ran off but was apprehended by deputies, according to BSO.
