MIAMI – A woman who broke both of her legs while aboard a Carnival cruise ship was picked up and taken by helicopter from that ship to St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach Wednesday.
Coast Guard Sector Miami was notified by personnel that the 52-year-old woman had fallen in an elevator, severely injuring both of her legs.
The woman was last reported to be in stable condition.
