Deputies seek missing 88-year-old Boca Raton man

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Deputies are asking for the public's help in finding an 88-year-old man who went missing Tuesday.

Burton Alboum was last heard from about 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Alboum left his home in the 4000 block of Lincoln A in Boca Raton to visit a friend's home in suburban Boynton Beach, in the area of Military Trail and Boynton Beach Boulevard.

However, deputies said Alboum never made it there. A silver alert was then issued by the sheriff's office on Tuesday.

Alboum should be driving a gray four-door Toyota Camry with license plate Y9FPV.

Those who may come in contact with Alboum or know his whereabouts are asked to call the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office at 688-3400, or your nearest law enforcement agency.
