Minivan crashes into house

Driver suffers minor injuries, no one injured inside the home

COOPER CITY, Fla. – There were some scary moments for a Cooper City family Monday morning as a minivan crashed through their fence and into their backyard.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, around 8 a.m, a woman in another car was making a turn out of the area of 116th Avenue and Stirling Road. The minivan's driver had to swerve to avoid hitting the woman's vehicle.

The minivan crashed into the rence and onto the back patio of a nearby home.

No one inside the home was injured, but the driver of the minivan suffered minor injuries. The driver of the other car was not hurt.
