Bodies removed from Hialeah home

Police not saying how three people died

HIALEAH, Fla. – Family and friends gathered outside a Hialeah home as police removed three bodies found inside Tuesday afternoon.

It was an emotional scene at the home off West 40th Place as shocked relatives and neighbors watched investigators trying to piece together what had happened.

A 911 call from a neighbor alerted police that something had happened.

Sky 10 in HD was overhead when officers broke in, found one body in the doorway, then backed off while waiting for a warrant to search the property. That' when two more bodies were found.

Neighbors say there was never any sign of trouble, but that it had been a couple of days since they had seen the family that lives there.

"Right away, calling the police to look right here," said Carmen Cepeda.

Neighbors Local 10 spoke with on Thursday were in shock when they heard the news.

"Very surprised. Never a problem with them, nothing," said Cepeda.

At this point, police have not said how the people died, or if they are looking for anyone in connection with their deaths.
