MIAMI – One hundred, thirteen flights were either canceled or delayed Sunday because of the weather system moving across the country, airport officials said.
At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, 10 cancellations were reported Sunday evening.
At Miami International Airport, 29 cancellations were also reported.
A total of 74 delays were reported at FLL as a result of the storm, with delays up to three and a half hours.
Officials said cities affected by Sunday's cancellations and delays at FLL and MIA include Dallas-Fort Worth, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. (both airports), New York (both airports), Chicago, St. Louis, Jacksonville, Baltimore, Louisville and Nashville.
