Police release sketch of attempted Kendall rapist

Woman attacked while entering her home

KENDALL, Fla. – Police have released a sketch of a man who tried to rape a woman in Kendall.

Miami-Dade police said the attack happened Sunday night as the woman was entering her home near Southwest 112th Avenue and Southwest 88th Street.

She told detectives the man ripped off some of her clothes and tried to rape her, but she fought him off.

The sketch shows a man whose face is partially covered with a bandana. Police said he also had a distinctive tattoo on his left forearm.

Detectives went door-to-door throughout the neighborhood Wednesday distributing fliers with the sketch.
