Miami-Dade police seek 78-year-old man

Police say man afflicted with early stages of dementia

MIAMI – Miami-Dade police are asking for the public's help finding a 78-year-old man who is afflicted with the early stages of dementia.

Alfredo Arenas, who police said went missing Wednesday, walked away from his home in the 8400 block of S.W. 40th Terrace.

Police described Arenas as a white man who is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds, and has white hair and blue eyes.

Arenas was wearing a light blue button-down shirt, light-colored blue-jean shorts and black laced shoes.
