LeBron James named to 2013-14 All-NBA First Team

James selected for eighth time

MIAMI – The Miami Heat's LeBron James has been named to the 2013-2014 All-NBA First Team for the eighth time.

James received 124 First-Team votes this time around, while the Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant was the only unanimous selection, appearing on all 125 ballots as a First-Team pick.

Other players joining James and Durant on the First Team are Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers, James Harden of the Houston Rockets and Joakim Noah of the Chicago Bulls.

One of James' biggest accomplishments is that he posted his ninth 2,000-point season, becoming the fourth player in NBA history to accomplish the feat. Other players who have already accomplished this are Karl Malone with 12 seasons, Michael Jordan with 11 seasons, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with nine seasons.
