MIRAMAR, Fla. – A mother can be heard in a newly released 911 call trying to keep her 3-year-old daughter calm after an accidental shooting in Miramar last week.
Miramar police Monday released the 911 call placed by the girl's mother after her daughter accidentally shot herself with an unsecured gun in the home last Wednesday night.

"Please hurry up, please," the mother tells the 911 dispatcher.
"OK, and what happened," the 911 dispatcher asks.
"She shot herself in the stomach," the mother answers.
The mother can then be heard trying to console the child.
"Stay with me, baby," the mother says. "Breathe. Breathe. Breathe, baby."
The girl was taken to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, where she was last listed in stable condition.
Police will forward their findings to the state attorney's office to determine if any charges will be filed.
