Man survives being struck by train in Pompano Beach

30-year-old taken to Broward Health North

A man was struck by a train on the railroad tracks near Copans Road in Pompano Beach.

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A man was struck by a train early Wednesday morning in Pompano Beach.

City spokeswoman Sandra King said the 30-year-old man survived after being grazed by a train on the railroad tracks near Copans Road and was taken to Broward Health North.

His condition was not immediately available.

It also wasn't known when the man was struck.
