PLANTATION, Fla. – The FBI is asking for the public's help in finding the robber who said he was carrying an explosive device and stole cash from a bank, authorities said.
The robbery happened at 5:22 p.m. Thursday at the Chase branch at 8285 W. Sunrise Blvd. in Plantation.
The FBI said the robber entered the bank, implied he was carrying the explosive device and demanded money from a bank employee.
Customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no injuries, according to the FBI.
Money was taken, but the amount was not provided by authorities.
