HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Subway in Homestead Friday morning.
Detectives said the thief entered the restaurant at 28700 S. Dixie Highway around 9 a.m. armed with a handgun.

Detectives said he jumped the counter and ordered the employees to remove the money till from the register. $500 were taken.
The robber is described as a black man between 18-25 years old.
Police believe he is responsible for other robberies in the area.
