CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Police said a woman who was in custody attempted to harm herself by asphyxiation Monday.
Melissa Jackson, 20, was arrested in Coral Gables after police identified her as a woman who was seen on surveillance video allegedly attempting to break into a home on Vittorio Avenue. Police said the same woman was reported by another resident as being suspicious after she knocked on their front door and asked for an unknown man.
