LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Lauderhill fire officials are investigating after an elderly woman crashed into the conference room of an office building Tuesday morning.
A Lauderhill Fire Rescue spokesman said the woman mistook the gas for the brake when she crashed into the building at 4450 N. University Drive.
Luckily, a meeting had just been canceled so no one was inside the conference room when the car came crashing in.
A building inspector was at the scene to determine whether it was safe to remain inside the building.
No injuries were reported.
