LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – A woman was killed in a crash Tuesday afternoon in Lauderdale Lakes, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened about 1:13 p.m. Tuesday at Northwest 31st Avenue and Northwest 41st Street.

Deputies said the driver of a 2007 Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Northwest 31st Avenue with a woman in the front passenger seat.
At the same time a 2010 Toyota Corolla driven byCharles Gerald, 82, was traveling north on Northwest 31st Avenue.
Gerald turned left into the path of other driver's car. Deputies said north and southbound traffic had a green signal.
The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the BSO.
Deputies said both drivers were taken to Broward Health Medical Center for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and were later released.
