DAVIE, Fla. – Running back Knowshon Moreno's debut season with the Miami Dolphins is over.
The team announced Tuesday that Moreno was placed on injured reserve with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Moreno played in three games this season, rushing 31 times for 148 yards and a touchdown. He also caught one pass for eight yards.
The Dolphins signed Moreno to a one-year contract in March after he spent the previous five seasons with the Denver Broncos.
