Police announce arrest Tuesday

Antonio Rodriguez is accused of exposing himself to a woman who was sunbathing in Coral Gables.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Police have arrested a man accused of exposing himself to a woman while she was sunbathing at a Coral Gables apartment.

Coral Gables police said Tuesday that Antonio Rodriguez, 40, of Hialeah, was arrested on charges of indecent exposure and burglary of an occupied structure.

Police said the man approached the woman as she was sunbathing in an enclosed patio area in the back of her apartment building and exposed himself to her. Police released surveillance photographs of a man walking in the 200 block of Mendoza Avenue nearby at about the time of the incident.

According to the arrest report, police found the same "Baseball League" T-shirt the man was seen wearing during a search of Rodriguez's home.

Detectives are trying to determine if Rodriguez can be linked to any other crimes in the city.
