Davie clothing store owner accused of molesting 14-year-old employee

Eun Bae Kim faces charges of lewd or lascivious molestation, conduct

DAVIE, Fla. – Police have arrested a Davie man accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl on numerous occasions.

According to officers, the victim began working for Eun Bae Kim, who owns a clothing company that sells women's apparel online. The victim told police that she began working for Kim in January 2014 and would model the clothes so he could take photos and post them on eBay.

"He's actively advertising for models and he's very specific in what he's looking for," Capt. Dale Engle told Local 10 News.

During the police's investigation, which began in March, investigators said they determined Kim had groped and fondled the victim multiple times at Ceci Collections Ladies Fashion at 6807 Stirling Road.

They said Eun would walk up behind the victim and touch her buttocks and breasts before placing his hands inside of her underwear. The teen told police that she would swipe his hand away before he could go further.

Kim told detectives that he never touched the girl inappropriately and said the only time he did touch her was to address an underwear line that was sticking out of her pants.

There is a sign that reads "Models Wanted" posted on the door of Kim's business.

In the advertisement, he lists that he is looking for part-time models who are 5 foot 3 inches tall to 5 foot 6 inches tall, wear size small tops and size 1 or 3 bottoms.

Kim faces two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation and one count of lewd or lascivious conduct. His bond was set at $25,000.
