Erykah Badu hits BET's Art Basel week pop-up lounge in Miami's Wynwood

BET sets up 'The Art Lounge' for parties and art exhibits

MIAMI – Erica Wright is Erykah Badu when she is singing, DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown when she is behind the turntables and Fat Belly Bella when she is on Twitter.

Wright, 43, is also mom to 5-year-old Mars, 10-year-old Puma, and Seven, 17. And on Saturday, she will take some time off that role to perform in Miami's Wynwood. She will be there as DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown.

WEDNESDAY: At 11 p.m., BET and DJ Irie are hosting an after-party for the Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks.

THURSDAY: Art Lounge opens and "Fusion After Dark" party follows. Tickets sold out at $25 a piece.

FRIDAY: BET pink carpet reception begins at 6:30 p.m. After a private dinner, "Fusion After Dark" begins.

Wright is the headliner late Saturday night at Black Entertainment Television pop-up art lounge, 318 NW 23 St., at Mana Miami Production Village. BET opens its doors at 10 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $75 and can be found on WantTickets.com.
