Erik Cass accused of shooting man during argument in Fort Lauderdale
Shooting occurs outside Mobil gas station
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A man was arrested Monday night after shooting another man at a Fort Lauderdale gas station.
The shooting occurred about 8 p.m. at a Mobil gas station, 901 W. Commercial Blvd.
Fort Lauderdale police said the two men were arguing when one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other.
The gunman fled from the scene, but police were able to locate and arrest him. He was identified Tuesday as Erik Cass.
Cass faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and violation of probation.
The victim, who hasn't been identified, was taken the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
