Miami-Dade police search for Family Dollar robber

Shalinda Baily, 20, told police she feared robber was armed

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police officers were looking Tuesday for a man who robbed a Family Dollar near West Little River.

The man covered his face and walked into the store, 2151 NW 79 St., with one hand inside his shirt. Shalinda Baily, 20, and Tasheka Robinson, 29, told police they thought he was armed.

The man ordered Baily to open the cash register and took about $276, police said. The robbery was at 9:18 a.m., Nov. 27th. The victims described the robber as a black male in his early 20s, 5-feet-10-inches in height and weighing about 150 pounds.
