Bomb squad responds to reports of explosives at Wilton Manors house

No injuries at bomb squad scene in Wilton Manors

WILTON MANORS, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office bomb squad responded to reports of explosives at a home in the Wilton Manors neighborhood Monday afternoon.

Third Avenue and Northwest 24th Street was shut down, as police surrounded a house near Wilton Manors Elementary, Pace High School and Somerset Academy. The schools were on lock down.

BSO detonated the suspicious object and police said there weren't any injuries.
