Miami police identify Honda CR-V wanted in hit-and-run

Victim remains at Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition

MIAMI – The Miami Police Department's traffic homicide unit released photos Wednesday of a vehicle they believe was involved in a hit-and-run in Miami's Little Haiti neighborhood.

Detective William Moreno used surveillance cameras to identify the white or silver Honda CR-V. The driver of that vehicle is suspected of striking a woman about 7:41 p.m. Feb. 10.

She was crossing Northwest Second Court at 79th Street., near St. Mary's Cathedral, 7525 NW 2nd Ave. The driver of the Honda CR-V ran her over and did not stop to help her.

Paramedics took her to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where she remained in critical condition, police said.

Police were asking anyone with information to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers 305-471-8477.
