Police interview witnesses, review surveillance video to determine who was at fault

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A Budweiser truck struck and killed a man in a motorized wheelchair Thursday morning in Fort Lauderdale.

The crash occurred on State Road 84 near Southwest 15th Avenue.

Fort Lauderdale police said the 60-year-old man was trying to cross State Road 84 as the truck was turning onto the road. The Budweiser truck remained at the scene.

"The scooter struck the front of the truck at the initial turn that the truck driver was making," Fort Lauderdale police Detective DeAnna Greenlaw said.

Terrence Sosenko was pronounced dead at the scene.

Greenlaw said police are interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance video to determine who was at fault.
