Bring on Alaska and Hawaii.
According to an Associated Press report, a Michigan couple just completed the task of visiting every single county in the U.S., 3,108 in all.
Jennifer and Jonathan Riehl finished the journey upon ferrying to Nantucket. The couple completed the quest all in the same vehicle, a 1999 Dodge Intrepid, the AP story said.
They told the Cape Cod Times that along the way, they dealt with dangers such as bear encounters and extreme weather, including an avalanche, landslide and blizzards.
According to The AP, the couple began their journey in 2006, and now plan on visiting each of Alaska's boroughs and then go to Hawaii.
