Dario Pinson, Jesse Foots face charges of kidnapping, robbery

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Police arrested two men in connection with an armed robbery at a Miami Shores Pizza Hut last month.

Dario Pinson, 19, and Jesse Foots, 24, were arrested in connection with the Feb. 26 robbery at the Pizza Hut at 8900 Biscayne Blvd.

Miami Shores police said employees were ordered into a small supply closet during the robbery. One woman was pulled by her hair, a man was hit on the shoulder and another man was pistol-whipped.

Police said the men ordered the manager to open the safe, but she warned them that there was a 15-minute delay after she typed in the code.

Employees at the restaurant told detectives that the men appeared to be growing nervous and left with only $43 and two cellphones.

Pinson was being held at the main Broward County jail. Foots was arrested in Georgia and was being extradited back to Florida to stand trial.

Both men face charges of robbery and kidnapping.
