OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who robbed an Oakland Park convenience store Wednesday night and shot at the clerk.

Surveillance video showed a man in a Chicago Bulls hat and red shirt entering the Farm Stores business at 4420 NE First Terrace just before 11 p.m.

Deputies said the man asked the clerk for a soda. While his purchase was being rung up, he pulled out a gun and demanded cash.

The 23-year-old clerk chased the robber out of the store, at which point the man turned around and shot at the victim, deputies said.

The victim was not injured and told deputies that he saw the robber take off in cream-colored Nissan sedan.

Deputies said the thief got away with the soda and about $100 in cash.
