A cat that vanished two years ago from its South Carolina home was found some 2,000 miles away, according to a Fox News report.

The cat, named Kevin, was found in a U-Haul trailer after an inspector heard meowing at a checkpoint in Arizona.

According to the Fox News report, the truck's driver was not aware of the cat. Kevin was dehydrated, but alive, and his microchip helped track down his owner Cheryl Walls.

Walls said someone must have helped Kevin, but she doesn't know how he got into the trailer, the Fox News story said.
