MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A 20-year-old woman was arrested after she fired a shot into the air during a weekend altercation in South Beach, police said.
Nicole Tyler was arrested Saturday morning on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, using a firearm while under the influence and grand theft.
Miami Beach police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez said a group of people were involved in a fight in the 900 block of Ocean Drive.
During the dispute, Tyler pulled out a gun and fired a shot into the air, Rodriguez said. There were no injuries.
A group of people ran off but were quickly detained by police.
