Suspects also charged with contributing to deliquency of 2 minors

STOCK ISLAND, Fla. – Three people are facing charges after they were found smoking marijuana with two 17-year-old girls on the balcony of an apartment in Stock Island, deputies said.

A Monroe County sheriff's deputy on patrol at the Meridian West public housing complex said he smelled marijuana coming from the home Monday afternoon.

The deputy said he knocked on the door, which was answered by 18-year-old Ivan Darce Jr. He said Darce allowed him to search the residence.

Deputies said Xanax, cocaine and marijuana were found in various locations throughout the home, along with several Styrofoam cups containing alcohol.

Darce, Antonia German, 21, and Emmanuel Lordmendez, 18, were all arrested on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of public housing.

Darce was also arrested on charges of cocaine possession, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The girls were released to their parents.
