4 arrested in drug bust at Miami supermarket

Firearms, drugs confiscated at 405 NW 12th Ave.

MIAMI – Four people were arrested in a drug bust at a Miami supermarket Tuesday.

Miami police said a husband and wife, who own Crystal Supermarket, 405 NW 12th Ave., were arrested along with two women Tuesday afternoon.

A tip was received in recent months that narcotic sales were taking place inside the supermarket, police said.

Once inside the business, officers found various firearms, cocaine worth more than $10,000 and $18,324.65 in U.S. currency, police said.

Juan Villalonga, 54; Nerylis Bautista, 49; Christina Trujillo, 26; and Irene Estrada, 24, were arrested.
