Fort Lauderdale girl Baker Acted after running away from home
Rashauna Andrezil, 10, reported missing Tuesday
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A 10-year-old girl from Fort Lauderdale who ran away from home Tuesday has been hospitalized under the Baker Act.
Police said Rashauna Andrezil returned to her home Thursday morning.
According to police, Andrezil left her home in the area of Northeast 11th Street and First Avenue about 5 p.m. Tuesday, after her mother told her she was on time out and couldn't go outside to play.
Police said Andrezil suffers from bipolar disorder and did not have her medication with her when she ran away.
Police did not disclose where Andrezil had been staying for the past couple of days.
