"It's a huge fire," Florida Forest Service spokesman Scott Peterich told Local10.com.

Peterich said a northwest wind is causing the smoke from that fire to drift into Broward County.

The fire has been burning for more than a week.

Monica Pognon, a spokeswoman for Broward County's environmental services, said the air quality is good.

As of Wednesday, the fire was only 11 percent contained.
