Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said Robinson's body was found under a pile of clothes at the Rashelle Hotel on Northwest 27th Avenue.

According to the arrest report, Kindle admitted that he choked Robinson to death after they argued about his drug use.

Deputies said Robinson was bound at the wrists and ankles with belts, preventing her from escaping or fighting back.

The report stated that Kindle tried to commit suicide by cutting himself and taking a large amount of pills. Deputies said he had several lacerations on his lower arms and wrists.

A hotel manager informed detectives that the couple had checked in together May 29.

Associate medical examiner Dr. Rebecca MacDougall arrived at the scene and ruled the death a homicide. MacDougall said Robinson had been dead for more than a day.

Kindle faces a charge of first-degree murder.
