OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – A South Florida woman was arrested Monday after she punched a boy in the face because he was making fun of her, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
Hang Tran, 23, faces charges of simple battery and resisting arrest without violence.

According to the report, a 7-year-old boy was riding his bicycle outside his mobile home in Oakland Park when Tran punched him in the face "suddenly and unprovoked."
When a deputy asked Tran what happened, according to the report, she said, "He looked at me and was making fun of me, and I punched him."
The report said Tran gave two different names and birth dates, both of them false.
The boy's mother refused treatment at the scene and said she would take him to a hospital. The arresting deputy said she didn't see any bruising to the boy's face.
Jail records show that Tran was being held on $2,000 bond.
