Deputies search for men involved in crime spree across Broward County

2 men believed to be involved in at least 30 burglaries

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office is searching for two men believed to be involved in at least 30 burglaries at businesses across Broward County.

The burglaries have been reported in recent weeks at restaurants, dollar stores, bakeries and other businesses.

Deputies said the thieves strike between midnight and 10 a.m., throwing rocks to smash the businesses' glass doors after hours.

Surveillance video from various locations shows the men leaving with cash registers.

"I can't believe how many businesses have been affected, especially our neighbors next door," New Family Barber Shop manager Anthony Consalvo said.

Detectives describe one of the burglars as a thin black man with medium-length dreadlocks and some facial hair. He has extensive tattoos on his left arm, hand, upper torso and back and a smaller tattoo inside his right arm. The second thief is described as a black man with an athletic build, tattoos on both arms and a full beard.

Anyone with information about the identities of the culprits is asked to call Sgt. Tom Gentile at 954-722-5800 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
