HIALEAH, Fla. – A man sought in the deaths of two Hialeah women has been caught.

Hialeah police said Adrian Leyva, 42, was arrested Friday in Miami Beach.

Leyva was wanted in connection with the deaths of his ex-girlfriend, Tina Gutierrez, 32, and her neighbor, Martha Perdomo, 82. Their bodies were discovered in a duplex they shared on East 23rd Street.

The women were discovered by Perdomo's daughter, who rushed to the home after her mother repeatedly failed to answer her phone calls.

Neighbors said they believed Leyva was jealous of Gutierrez, believing that she may have been in a relationship with another man.
