7 South Florida Starbucks locations to serve wine, craft beer

Locations among 24 nationwide to begin serving 'evenings' menu Wednesday

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Several South Florida Starbucks stores will begin serving alcohol this week, as the coffee chain expands its "evenings" menu nationwide.

Seven locations in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties are among the two dozen stores that will have craft beer, wine and small plates available for purchase starting Wednesday.

According to Starbucks' website, the following stores will feature the menus:

  • 9560 Harding Avenue, Surfside
  • 9700 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines
  • 101 Northwest 136th Avenue, Sunrise
  • 6111 Lyons Road, Space 101, Coconut Creek
  • 3349 W. Hillsboro Beach Boulevard, Deerfield Beach
  • 226 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach
  • 10925 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach

Wine and craft beer selection will vary depending on region. The small plates menu includes items such as artichoke and spinach dip, truffle mac and cheese and bacon-wrapped dates. Each item has less than 500 calories.

According to USA Today, Starbucks has also submitted liquor license applications at hundreds of other locations. It plans to start serving "Evenings" products at many of them by the end of the year. Starbucks began testing the menu in 2010.
