Home sprayed with bullets in Margate

No one injured in shooting

MARGATE, Fla. – A home in Margate was sprayed with bullets early Monday morning, police confirmed.

The shooting was reported about 5:40 a.m. at a home in the 600 block of Southwest 50th Terrace.

Police said responding officers found spent shell casings on the ground and what appeared to be bullet holes on the outside of the home.

Police said there were people inside the home at the time, but no one was injured.

A witness told detectives that a dark-colored vehicle fled the neighborhood before police arrived.
