MIRAMAR, Fla. – Police are searching for a man and woman in connection with a shoplifting and battery at an Advanced Auto Parts store in Miramar.
The incident was reported about 7:45 p.m. Aug. 10 at 7979 Riviera Blvd.

According to police, the man distracted the clerk and then punched a customer who told the employee that he had witnessed the woman stealing Hello Kitty car mats.
Police believe the duo are also responsible for a similar crime at another Advanced Auto Parts store.
Police believe the couple left the store in a dark-colored, newer model Nissan Altima.
Anyone with information about the identity of the culprits is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
